Frequently Asked Questions

…and their answers.

What is meant by Free Personal Training?

Because every woman is different with a wide range of various previous injuries, we take the time with each member to do a health assessment, functional assessment (to find muscle imbalances), and to take your weight and measurements.

Afterwards, we spend a few sessions with you to go over our machines, write everything down for you in an easy-to-read workout card, and create a program guide for you so you’re not lost. This makes working out easy and fun and the support is ongoing.

This service is normally $40 to $60 an hour at most gyms but this is included with your membership.

Can I use the gym anytime outside of my appointments?

Yes! This is your gym!

Outside of my appointments, can I ask trainers questions?

Yes! We are always here to answer your questions! Our goal is to get you moving and keep you going!

Do I have to use the personal training?

No! Although some members don’t want personal training or the assessments, we are always here to help. We are still a safe environment where you can ask any questions you want.

Do I have to get weighed and measured?

No! However, if you don’t want to look at the scale, we recommend not looking as we take the measurements so we can establish a baseline. By using our services, results come faster. You’ll also be glad to see your progress each month when we reassess!

How often do you reassess?

After your initial consultation and appointments in which we put your program together, we schedule you right away for a 30-day reevaluation. At this appointment, we reweigh and measure and tweak your program to keep the momentum going. This process is ongoing and we repeat it every 30-45 days or as needed.

Do you have classes?

Yes! We have a Boot Camp class called FITT Factor that runs every day that is modifiable and highly addictive! Every class is:

  • Only 30 minutes
  • A full body workout
  • The workout changes everyday
  • Is trainer led for maximum results
What time are your classes?

Anytime. The way our class is set up, you actually can come in and do the class anytime on your schedule. However, our formal class times are at 9:15am, Monday through Saturday, and 5:45pm Monday through Thursday.

How many calories can I expect to burn?

Around 300 during the class. However, because this is a dynamic full-body workout, you will continue to burn calories throughout the day.

Can I try the class?

Yes! You can try the class by clicking here.

Does price include personal training?

Yes. Forever and always!

Do you have family plans?

Yes! If you have a daughter living at home between the ages of 13 years to 18 years old, they are half price any package.

Do you have Silver Sneakers?

We have a Senior and Disability Discount (65 and older, or a medical disability) that is half our normal price.

What are you doing for COVID-19 reopening?

We have spread all equipment six feet apart. We also have paper towels that can be used to wipe the equipment down using disinfectant spray, not just our normal towels. Every piece of equipment has its own disinfectant spray, and we also have gym wipes that are disposable to use-all of which are EPA approved. Members can also bring in their own EPA approved wipes if they so choose.

Members are to disnfect equipment before and after use. Our members don’t want to workout in dirt and we take our cleaning very seriously. We use non-toxic chemicals (a combination of isopropyl alcohol, vinegar, and essential oils) to clean the equipment and we have many disinfectant spray bottles located around the gym for our members to easily spray their machines after use. We also change out towels as needed throughout the day.

Our bottles have alcohol as a base as well as vinegar which is a substitue for Clorox and also some lemon essential oils. Every 2 hours all staff members wipe down every piece of equipment along with other suface areas in the bathroom, lockerroom, front door, desks, chairs etc. with Purell spray. All staff check temperature before their shifts and wear their face mask during their shifts. Members are encouraged to wear masks but is not mandatory. Members can bring thier own yoga mats, boxing gloves, towels, etc as well. We encourage you to see the changes for yourself and stop in any time.

What are your hours?

We are open 7am to 7pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturday 9am to noon. Because we give personal training, our members know exactly what to do so they can get in and out.

Can I use multiple locations with my membership?

Yes! If you are a member at one you are a member at all.

Do you have showers?

Although we have showers, due to our COVID-19 regulations, our showers are closed for the time being.

Do you have daycare?

Not at this time. This is truly a place where women can get away from all responsibilities so they can focus on themselves.

Is this a franchise?

No! We have direct control over our programs and don’t have to pay huge fees to a franchisor to be open. This keeps us relevant, up-to-date, and open for business!

What happens if you close?

We are not going anywhere and are activily looking for other locations in which to open. We have the financing and over 60 years of combined experience. However, if there is an act of God, your membership would stop and we would make any necessary refunds.
